CPR and First Aid - PACE Paramedic Service offers classes at various times in both.
Diabetes Education & Support - staffed by two certified diabetes educators, educational sessions and support groups are offered regularly. Diabetes Support Group meets the third Wednesday of each month in the Harper Conference Center located in the lower level of the Ripley Medical Building from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The group is free and open to all who have or are affected by diabetes. Grief Support 743-1562 x379 For people coping with the loss of a loved one(s), SMH offers grief support. There is no fee for this service.
Healthy Oxford Hills - a division of Healthy Maine Partnerships committed to improving the health of community members in Western Maine.
Mended Hearts - 743-1562 x779 - Support group for heart disease surivors and family members. We invite you and your family to attend one of our meetings, which are held on the Third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm at: 193 Main St. Harper Conference Center in Ripley Medical Building.
Parkinson’s Support 743-7086 The group will meet monthly, on the last Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm The group is open to any individual or families who are interested in or have concerns about Parkinson’s Disease.
Physical Therapy - offering comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy for both inpatients at SMH and outpatients.
Preparing to Birth - Childbirth education classes for new parents. Sibling Classes also available.
Riverside Trail - a new trail developed by Western Maine Health and a collaboration of Healthy Oxford Hills, SAD #17 and other area organizations concerned with stamping out childhood obesity in Western Maine.
Safe Sitter® - Baby sitting courses
School Based Health Centers - in school health centers available at Oxford Hills Middle and High School.
