Imaging Services

Stephens Memorial Hospital has one of the most technologically advanced imaging departments in the region.  This department expanded with the addition of a new 64 Slice CT scanner  in 2006, and the GE Signa Infinity 1.5T MRI system which was added in 2004, and features the most comprehensive clinical capabilities in the industry.  Our imaging services, offering various types of tests that provide detailed pictures of structures and organs inside the body, include the Forte^TM nuclear medicine camera, the Prodigy^TM bone densitometer, an advanced CAT scan unit, the Hologic Digital mammography system, as well as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and X-rays. All units feature state-of-the-art technology which will contribute greatly to the high-quality care SMH provides to the community.
