Joint Replacement

Patient Testimonials

"I can't say enough wonderful things about the joint replacement program at Stephens!  The Joint Camp group was great in teaching exercises and showing us the equipment and what to expect.  It really helps to put it all together for you.  The patient rooms were so comfortable and having the Physical Therapy room right around the corner in the hospital was very good!  Everyone on staff when I was a patient from the housekeepers to the nurses and physicians did a wonderful job helping me feel as at home as I could during my stay.  Everything I learned has me well on the way to fully recovering from my surgery."

Joint Camp prepares the patient for overcoming all the little things we take for granted before surgery. Like, "How am I going to put my socks on?"; "Am I going to be able to reach those pots & pans, in the lower, kitchen cabinet, after surgery?" Joint Camp is extremely informative, with lots of tips for "life after surgery". The Joint Camp Staff is friendly, helpful, and can answer all the patients' questions.

I had my first Total Hip Replacement done at Stephen's Memorial in October of 2006. I had my right hip done in July of 2009. I could've gone anywhere!...I came back to Stephen's. Stephen's is a great facility - Big-Time Doctors with a small-town feel. Everyone from the surgeons to the food services staff are "Top Flight"!
