Oxford Casino Helps Purchase
Imaging Equipment for SMH
Maine’s Oxford Casino has added another dimension of philanthropy in giving back to the Oxford Hills community.
Oxford Casino General Manager, Jack Sours, presented Timothy A. Churchill, President and CEO of Stephens Memorial Hospital, with a donation of $10,000 to help support the 2012 Annual Fund.
The 2012 Annual Fund is dedicated to help fund the purchase of a new ultrasound imaging system. This new system replaces existing equipment and will allow staff to perform all general ultrasound imaging including pelvic, abdominal, obstetrical, renal, and certain heart studies. In addition, it will have the capability to perform ultrasound guided thyroid and breast biopsies and will be a valuable tool to our physicians in diagnosing and treating patients of all ages.
Timothy A. Churchill shares, “Oxford Casino is living up to their word to create good jobs and give back to the community. Our annual investment in capital equipment and technology frequently exceeds one million dollars, and this year is no exception.
