Barbara Deschenes Joins SMH as
Healthy Oxford Hills Office Coordinator

Jim Douglas, Director at Healthy Oxford Hills (HOH), a project of Stephens Memorial Hospital, is pleased to announce that Barbara Deschenes has recently been hired as the Office Coordinator at HOH. 

In her new role Barbara will work as a member of the Healthy Oxford Hills team and promote partnerships, policies, and programs to protect and enhance the health of the Oxford Hills community.

Barbara has spent the last six years working as the Customer Service Manager at Maine Machine.  Prior to her position at Maine Machine, Barbara was a member of the Growth Council of Oxford Hills which focused on business development.   Of her new position Barbara shares, “I am looking forward to working for a community non-profit organization and doing something that I have a passion for and believe in.” 

Jim shares, "Barb has made a lifelong commitment to physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.  She has extensive knowledge of and connections in the Oxford Hills community.
