Stephens Memorial Hospital
Welcomes First Baby of 2014

The Stephens Memorial Hospital Family Birthplace is pleased to announce the arrival of the first baby born in 2014, Cooper David Ring.  Cooper was welcomed by his parents Amanda Mayberry and Kyle Ring of South Paris on Saturday, January 4th at 7:19 pm just over two weeks past his due date.  Cooper weighed 8 lbs and 15 ounces and measured 20 inches in length.  Cooper may have been two weeks overdue but his timing was perfect, earning him the title of the first baby born at Stephens Memorial Hospital in 2014.

Amanda and Kyle welcomed their new baby boy with the help of Dr. Gregory Hardy of Western Maine OB/GYN.  Cooper is the couple’s first baby.

As part of the celebration Stephens Memorial Hospital presented baby Cooper and family with gifts donated by area businesses including: Oxford Hannaford, New Balance, Books and Things, Oxford Walmart and Walgreens.
